Happy Halloween! (and happy 2 month birthday to Ben!)

Ben was going to be Hannah for Halloween but the black cat costume was "infant" size and unfortunately more appropriate for a 12 month old. Oh well!

Discoveries

We're having a good week. Ben had two big discoveries this week - Hannah and his hands! He never noticed Hannah before but I've seen him staring at her a lot this week. He's always been pretty good at somehow getting his hands in his mouth, but this week I caught him examining his hands.

Ben loves to lay on the floor and kick his legs like crazy. He is in his swing right now (he is very sleepy but doesn't want to nap and is talking to the lions on the mobile instead) and he managed to kick off the blanket that I tucked under him and somehow he also got rid of a sock. Those legs are powerful!

Rainy Weekend

It has been so dreary here the past few days but it's nice to have a sweet little baby to cuddle with! Ben surprised me by rolling over on Tuesday! (Grandma and Popi told me he was close when they were watching him on Monday). I actually caught it on video so I will try to figure out how to post it. I took Ben to the doctor on Friday and he is up to 10lbs 2oz. We are so thrilled that he is gaining weight nicely now after a little bit of a slow start.
