Exersaucer!

Yesterday we put together Ben's exersaucer from Aunt Christy, Uncle Mike and Gabriel. Ben is still a little short for it, but his toes touch the bottom so he figured out how to move around. He loves looking at all the toys!

We also started applesauce. Ben pretty much hates rice cereal and oatmeal, but the applesauce is a big hit! I tried to sneak some oatmeal in with the applesauce but Ben was not fooled and spit it out!

High Chair

We put Ben's high chair together last weekend so he could try it out. He seems to really like it and it makes it easier for both of us to eat dinner at the same time.

Big Day

Today was a big day for Benjamin. After his morning nap we decided to try some rice cereal for the first time. Ben wasn't quite sure what to make of it. It took a little while for him to get the hang of opening his mouth for the spoon. Then he had more fun spitting out the cereal. We'll try again later.

This evening we were all sitting on our bed waiting for dinner to be ready and Ben sat up by himself! He had been laying down with his head resting on the Boppy pillow and all of a sudden he just sat up! The Boppy helped provide a little support so he didn't tip over. He was so proud of himself he kept doing it over and over again!

Ben went on his first trip to Pittsburgh for Christmas. He did great in the car, but it's hard to nap when there are so many new people and things to look at! Hopefully we'll return for a longer visit soon.
