A New Post!

Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote anything in here!  Becca is 9 months old and doing great.  She is changing so much it's hard to believe she just learned how to sit up 3 months ago!  She is not really interested in crawling so instead she either scoots around on her bum or else rolls to what she wants.  She has started walking while holding on to our furniture and she really thinks she can walk without holding on so she lets go and falls a lot.  She is very brave about trying to get around! 

After a very, very slow start to eating solids she is starting to come around.  She loves eating mum mums because she can feed herself.  She's only somewhat interested in baby food.

Becca LOVES her Daddy and she cries when he leaves the room.  Most of the time she will cling to him if I try to take her from him!  She also loves Hannah, who is very patient with her and of course big brother Ben.

She does have quite a bit of stranger anxiety and unlike Ben as a baby, she pretty much refuses to smile for strangers when we're out and about.  Many times we get stopped by older women who want to talk to her and Becca just will NOT smile for them.  What can I say, she's a little stubborn.

Ben is 4 now and he is also doing great.  He loves his preschool classes and we've been very happy with his progress this year.  We had a wonderful trip to Disney World and Ben had an amazing time.  Ben has matured so much in the past 6 months and we are so proud of him.
