Ben at 3 1/2

Ben is doing great at 3 1/2 and this continues to be my favorite age.  He is so funny and we never know what's going to come out of his mouth!  I think I text Josh almost daily with something new or funny Ben said.  He likes to be more independent (especially with getting his own snacks and drinks and dressing himself) but he is also still so sweet and loves to cuddle with us.

One thing is for sure, Ben is not shy!  When we're out he regularly strikes up conversations with random people.  He recently greeted a packed waiting room at my doctor's office by shouting "Hi everybody!".

He is very interested in the Cars movies right now, which is funny because for the longest time he had NO interest in them and would get mad at us if we put the Cars DVD on.  He recites the dialogue along with the characters and acts out his favorite parts.

We had a couple months where he was sleeping great and was waking around 7:30-8 and then napping too, but it seems like that has come to an end in the last week.  It was nice while it lasted!

Ben is starting to branch out a little with his eating habits and he has been much more willing to try new things.  Last night he tried a cheese quesadilla for the first time and told me it was "just like grilled cheese".

He's had a couple rough patches at school lately.  Nothing major, just not loving it as much as he used to.  We are moving him to the 4 year old afternoon class starting next week in hopes that it will help.  He'll also be reunited with his best buddy who moved to the afternoon class in January.

Ben seems excited to meet his baby sister and we think he's going to be a great big brother!
