Summer

We've had a very busy summer so far and it has barely started! We've made it to the pool a few times and Ben still enjoys the water. He's not a big fan of the baby pool and would rather be in the big pool.

Ben has been very interested in airplanes lately and whenever he hears one he stops and looks for it in the sky. Then he very excitedly tells us about it. Most of the time I haven't even noticed the plane until I see him looking around for it. He has amazing hearing.

He has a new word - "yeah". It has so helpful for him to be able to answer yes when we ask him a question! He says it many, many times a day.

Ben has also been having more fun at playgrounds lately. Josh rediscovered a tot lot that Ben loves. He still plays with the mulch a little bit, but he's more interested in the other equipment now. He's getting really good at climbing up slides and he's getting stronger every day.

Ben has been "feeding" his puppy which may be the cutest thing he has ever done. He stirs the "food" in the bowl with his spoon and then puts the spoon in puppy's mouth.

The other "summery" news is we've discovered that Ben loves plain old blueberries. I thought they would be too tart for him, but he loves them and will eat blueberry after blueberry.
